Associate Professor
Along with courses in the psychology department, Dr. Tobin has taught Organizational Communication in the Graduate School program in Organizational Leadership. Dr. Tobin is also a member of the Assessment and Planning Office for the University and is responsible for institutional. and co-curricular assessment.
Dr. Tobin is a licensed psychologist. Since coming to 911ºÚÁÏ in 1998, he has served as the Director of the Counseling Center (1998-2006) and as Vice President for Student Life (2006-2013). In 2013 Dr. Tobin joined the psychology department and assumed responsibility for coordinating and overseeing students’ clinical experiences. His interests are in the areas of counseling psychology and insight oriented practices that can assist college aged students in being their best selves.  His wife, Michelle, is a licensed clinical social worker in the University Counseling Center.
