Undergraduate Ceremony FAQs

    The commencement exercises for associate and baccalaureate candidates will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Erie Insurance Arena (approximate length of ceremony is two hours).

    Graduation mass is being held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. in Christ the King Chapel on the 911ºÚÁÏ University campus.

    No, tickets are not required for the undergraduate ceremony at the Erie Insurance Arena. Graduates may bring as many guests as they like. General seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  

    Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.

    The graduates must arrive by 11:30 a.m. for line-up and assistance with academic attire.Ìý

    Parking is available at the Erie Insurance Arena ramp on East 8th Street between French and Holland Streets (parking fee is $5, cash only). Accessible parking is available in the northwest lot of the arena.

    Accessible seating is available for guests attending commencement at the Erie Insurance Arena. Once inside, someone will direct you to accessible seating areas and elevators.Ìý

    • All patrons are subject to security screening as a condition of admission.
    • Bags and purses are subject to an additional screening, slowing the entry process. Bring only essential items.
    • Bottles, cans, flasks, noise makers, selfie sticks, weapons of any kind. Dangerous and unlawful materials are prohibited.
    • Outside food and beverages are prohibited.
    • Additional items may be prohibited as requested by teams, leagues, promoters, or artists.Ìý

    911ºÚÁÏ University has contracted with a professional videographer to capture your commencement on DVD. The DVD will feature the graduates receiving their diplomas, as well as main speeches and awards. The cost of the DVD is $25, which includes shipping and handling. All orders must be pre-paid and received by June 30, 2024. DVDs and videotapes can be ordered by filling out the .Ìý
